Dolores Esmonde

Dolores R. Esmonde, 98, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on 

May 31, 2023.  She was born in Philadelphia on December 28, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Lewis and Loretta (Downey) Riley.  Dolores enjoyed traveling, swimming and sewing.  She was also a volunteer for countless charities throughout her lifetime and cherished time spent with family and friends.  She was a retired real estate agent as well as a member of the Toastmasters club and the American Business Women's Association.

 She is survived by her three sons, William Esmonde, wife Jennifer, Mark Esmonde, Steven Esmonde and daughter, Joan F. Kelly. Dolores was a grandmother to seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband William Esmonde Sr., and daughter, Patricia Ann Esmonde. 

Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Monday, June 12 from 9:15 a.m - 9:45 a.m at Saint Teresa of Avila Church in Audubon, Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. A private family interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice or to Catholic Relief Services. 

Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Volpe Funeral Home.
