Dolores Leighty

Dolores "Dee"(Piazza) Leighty passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022. She was 82. Mrs. Leighty of Jeffersonville was a sales clerk and worked at the former Krylon Paints and Genuardi Supermarkets. Dee loved music, dancing, Elvis and special time with her family. She was born in Norristown on September 27, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Russell and Elizabeth (Sangrantz)Piazza. 
She is survived by her two sisters Betty (Thomas) Erickson and Gerri (Robert) Wenzel. Sister-in-law Ronnie Piazza and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brother Vince Piazza and sister Franny Paravati. 
Family would also like to give special thanks for Dee's nursing care, Tanya, Tasha, Cecily and Kanaya. 
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Friday, August 12 from 11:30 to 12:30 followed by prayer services at the Volpe Funeral Home 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Rd., East Norriton. 
Family request in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to your local ASPCA. 
Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Volpe funeral home.
