Donna Lynn Van Buren

Donna Lynn Van Buren passed away peacefully at home after a courageous and hard-fought battle with breast cancer on Monday, April 11, 2022, she was 39. 

Ms. Van Buren of East Norriton was a member of St. Titus church. 

Donna graduated from Gwynedd Mercy Academy high school in 2001, and then received a bachelor of arts degree from Loyola College in Maryland in 2005.

Donna had a passion for travel , having visited over thirty countries. Her love of International travel began in high school when she was fortunate to be a People To People International Student Ambassador. Once in college, she spent her junior year at the Loyola International Nachbahr Huis in Leuven, Belgium as a part of Loyola’s study abroad program. Upon her college graduation, Donna seized the opportunity to become involved with the teaching program offered by Loyola College at St Gabriel’s College in Bangkok, Thailand, a private, Catholic, all-boys school where she spent two years. 

-Donna was an avid fan of the Phillies and the Eagles but  everyone who knew her knew she was most passionate about her beloved Flyers. 

Donna was born in Norristown on October 21, 1982 and is the daughter of Dorell and Marilyn (Barbaretta) Van Buren. She is also survived by her brother DJ (Maria) Van Buren. Nephew Christopher and niece Maddie. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Monday, April 18 at 11:30 AM in St. Titus Church, East Norriton. 

Donna's  viewing will be held Monday at the church from 9:45 to 11:15 AM. 

Burial will follow in St. Patrick's mausoleum.
