Elizabeth M. Volpe

Elizabeth M. Volpe passed away on Monday March 3, 2025.

She was 88.

Mrs. Volpe of Norristown enjoyed watching her grandchildren's baseball games and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies. Elizabeth was born in Philadelphia on February 21, 1937 and was the daughter of the late, William and Catherine (Doney) Opperman. 

Wife of the late Daniel Volpe Elizabeth is survived by her three sons, Stephen (Jeanie)Volpe, James (Donna)Volpe and Daniel (Gerrieann)Volpe.

Two daughters Joann (Late husband George) Shepherdson and

Dana (Franco) Maffei.

One brother Robert Opperman.

Two sisters Margaret Lavin and Kathleen Conway.

Grandchildren, Mark, Megan, Ashley, Jimmy, Daniel, Tommy, Isabella, Shawn, Ryan and Keirsten.

Great grandchildren, Jared, Miley, Matthew, James, Jack, Ruby and Harrison.

One great great grandchild,

Emberlynn.

She was predeceased by her son Mark Volpe, and brother William Opperman.

Family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday March 8 from 9:30 to 10:30 followed by funeral services at 10:30 from the Volpe funeral home 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Rd., East Norriton.

Burial will follow in Westminster cemetery.
