Frederic Summers Hoover Sr

Frederic Summers Hoover Sr, 83, of Collegeville, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 14th, 2026 at Jefferson Einstein Hospital in East Norriton. His wife Heidi Jones Hoover passed away in 2016 to whom he was married for over 54 years.

Born July 7, 1942 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Mr. Hoover was a graduate of Penn Charter High School and he owned and operated Hoover discount flooring for over 50 years.

Rick Senior's greatest passion in life was always his grandchildren. He loved watching them play all their sports and he never missed a game no matter how far away. Everyone knew him as Pop Pop at the games and he always showed up with his binoculars because he said "he didn't want to miss a thing". He became a loving great Pop Pop in 2025 with the birth of his great grand daughter Lily Mae. He is survived by his son Frederic S. Hoover,Jr. and his wife, Roxanne of Collegeville; and her two grandchildren, Alexa, and Olivia and now a grand daughter Lily Mae

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life memorial service between 4:30-6:30 pm on Sunday May 17, 2026 at 991 N Grange Ave Collegeville PA 19426.
