George Albert Miller passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025. He was 73.
George was born in Philadelphia on April 18, 1952, and is the beloved husband of Mary Miller. He was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School in Philadelphia. He worked at Sears and Roebuck for several years before moving on to United Parcel Service retiring as a Supervisor with over 25 years of service.
In his pass time, George enjoyed the game of golf and was an avid sports fan of all the Philadelphia sports teams. He was also active with several charities always giving what he could. George was a very friendly person always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved his family dearly and was proud to brag about his children and grandchildren with everyone, that was willing to listen.
George is survived by his wife, Mary Miller, his son Ijia Phillips, and his girlfriend Kirsten Robertson, his daughter Madeara Samuel, and her fiancé Brian Stroh. His five grandchildren, Kenneth, Aleah, Lloyd, Elora, and Eron, and two great-grandchildren Adrian and Xavier.
The Miller family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, June 10 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM followed by prayer services at the Volpe funeral home 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Rd., East Norriton.

National Cancer Research Center
National Shrine of St. Jude - Claretian Missionaries and the Wounded Warrior Project.
