Gerarda Iannella

Gerarda Iannella passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 3, 2024, a week short of her 95th birthday.

As the family matriarch, she found comfort in cultivating her garden and preparing large meals for her family.

Mrs. Iannella formerly of Swedeland and living the past 25 years with her son, Gino, in Eagleville was born in Montella, Italy, on May 10, 1929. 

Daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Vuotto) Moscariello. She was the wife of the late Virginio (Gino) Iannella.

Gerarda is survived by two sons Gino and wife Judy and Joseph and wife Ann Iannella, nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

She was predeceased in death by her son Salvatore Iannella.

Her family will receive relatives and friends in Wednesday, May 8 from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial at Visitation BVM Church in Trooper, PA. Her burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
