Gloria Lynn Diehl

Gloria Lynn Diehl (Jones) was called home to the arms of her Lord & Savior unexpectedly in her home on January 29, 2020 in Schwenksville, PA at the age of 51.

Gloria was born on November 14, 1969 in Bristol, PA to Garlon Sr. & Linda Jones (Lamb). She graduated from Souderton High School in 1986. Following high school, Gloria worked at Grandview Hospital in the Food Service Department, Simco, and at several nursing homes as a CNA. She loved her family more than anything. Her kids were her world and she talked about them to everyone she knew. Gloria loved Jesus and she especially loved singing hymns. Gloria had a heart of gold and all who know her knew she loved hard. She was selfless, caring, and was always the life of the party. While we miss her here on earth, we can’t wait to see her again in heaven one day.

Gloria is survived by her fiancé, Thomas Hoffman, her Mother & Step-Father, Bob & Linda Lamb (Rigle), Her Daughter & Son-in law, Marissa (Diehl) & Conner Robinson, Son, Zachary Diehl (Alyssa Pruden), Brother, Garlon (Eddie) Jones Jr (Renee Moyer), and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her Grandparents, Charlie & Mary Dunlap (Rigle), Grandfather Robert Rigle, and Father, Garlon Jones Sr.

A celebration of life is scheduled for February 27th at Brookside Community Church (3800 Brookside Rd. Macungie, PA 18062). Friends can greet from 10:30-11am. The Service will begin at 11:00am.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Gloria’s life. Memorial contributions may be sent to Brookside Community Church.
