Helen Marie Graham

Helen Marie Graham passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the age of 86.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. Marie retired from the former Montgomery Hospital where she was employed as a Maintenance Coordinator. Some of her many hobbies included going to yard sales, spending time at the beach, reading, traveling with friends, as well as being an avid Phillies fan.

Much of her social time was spent with friends from the Stuart Keep Community.

If you ever had the opportunity to meet Marie, you knew what a treasure she was, and how she made everyone around her feel so special. She was the light of our family, and we will miss her. 

Marie was born on May 11,1938 in Mahanoy City, PA and was the daughter of Anthony and Helen (Szematowicz) Sharaka.

It was in her hometown where she met her late husband, Joseph Graham, and together they celebrated 46 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2005. She is survived by her son, Michael (Donna) Graham, three daughters, Michelle (Rocco Rossi) Gallagher, JoAnn (James) Pyne, and Colleen Graham. Two sisters, Dorothy Lewis and Nancy Petritsch. Grandmother of David, Matthew, Bryan, James, Amanda, Jacklyn, Nicole, Michael and Andrew. Great grandmother of Adeline, Christopher, Carter, Morgan, Grace and Giuliana. Marie was predeceased by her two sisters, Geraldine Chelak and Florence Ogryzek.

Family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, December 16 from 9:00 to 9:50 AM followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM in St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, New Hope St. Norristown.

Burial will follow in Limerick Garden of Memories.

Family request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church.
