Helen L. Mageeney passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022, She was 86.
Mrs. Mageeney of Norristown was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church.
Helen enjoyed playing bingo, knitting, relaxing at the pool, attending church and family.  She loved to go to her grandchildren’s sporting events and was an avid cheerleader for them.  
Helen was born in Norristown on May 18, 1935 and was the daughter of the Late Titus and Catherine (Haley) Lare.
She was the beloved wife of the late  Francis "McGoo" Mageeney.
She is survived by her daughter Bridget (late son-in - law Charles) Springer.
Four grandchildren Catherine (Matt), Shane, Michael and Samantha and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Benjamin, John, Raymond and sister Mary Walker.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Thursday, March 10 at 10:30 AM in St. Francis of Assissi church Norristown. Viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Thursday at the church.
Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.

Family request memorial contributions can be made to the St. Francis of Assisi church or the charity of your choice.
