In Loving Memory of Henry John Haubrich

March 1, 1933- June 13, 2023

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and untimely passing of Henry J. Haubrich. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished son, and a dear friend to many. He touched the lives of those around him with his warmth, kindness, and unwavering love. Born on March 1, 1933, Henry (Hank) was a remarkable individual who lived his life to the fullest. He was a beacon of strength and an epitome of integrity. His presence was a source of comfort and guidance for all who knew him. His departure leaves a void that can never be filled. Henry was a man of many talents and passions. He dedicated himself to his family, always putting their needs above his own. He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years Carmella (Griffo), his beagle Maggie, son Mark (Elizabeth) of Sea Girt NJ; children Alexander of Jersey City NJ and Mariel of Asbury Park NJ, daughter Celeste; child Gabrielle, both of Cherry Hill NJ, and the grandchildren of his deceased son Gerard (Lee); Bradford (Courtney) and Maxfield of Philadelphia PA, and Georgia (Jack) and Theodora of Haddonfield NJ. A dedicated employee of the Colonial school district (Plymouth Meeting PA) for 20 years, Hank put an equal amount of effort into working hard as he did bringing a smile to everyone’s face. Additionally, Hank was also a proud veteran serving U.S. Air Force for 4 years during the Korean War.

Hank aka “Grandpop Haubrich” loved watching his family grow over the years, as his sons and daughter had children of their own. This love also extended to Carmella’s family as well, where he enjoyed spending time with Carmella’s great nephew John Griffo. Funeral services and burial will be held private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Beagle Rescue, Education and Welfare (BREW), Inc. 500 North Washington Street Rockville, Maryland 20850 (www.brewbeagles.org)
