Jacob V Corropolese Sr

Jacob "Big Jake" Vincent Corropolese, Sr of Coatesville, PA, formerly Norristown, PA passed away at his home October 19, 2025. Jacob was born February 4, 1950, the son of the late Vincent and Josephine (Bacchi) Corropolese.  He is preceded in death by his sister Carmella Angelichio and his much beloved nephew Joshua Moser.  Jacob is survived by his beloved wife Margie Carroll Corropolese, and his former wife Patricia Johnston Corropolese, mother of his son Jacob Jr (Melinda) and stepson Michael Tuzzi.  He also leaves behind his grandchildren Serena, Gianna, Juliun, Adrianna, Mia, Ashely, Amanda, Michael & Dominick, along with his stepdaughter Katelyn Collemacine and seven great grandchildren. Jacob is also survived by his brother Joseph (Candy) and sister Marie (Micheal) Moser and countless nieces and nephews. 

          Jacob worked for Gretz Beverage, formerly Mirable and then went on to a seventeen year run at RiverCrest Golf Club & Preserve, as the beloved locker room attendant, which they officially call "Jake's Place" in his honor.  He loved sports, coached St Francis CYO football, thoroughly enjoyed being a part of his son’s football and wrestling and was thrilled at watching his grandchildren excel in their sports.  He has a passion for dancing and was such a joy for all who watched him.  He also enjoyed his time playing bocce at the Holy Savior Club in Norristown. 

    Family and friends are invited to attend his Life Celebration Ceremony at Volpe Funeral Home in East Norriton on Saturday, October 25, 2025 with viewing starting at 10:00 and service at 11:30.
