James E. DiNolfi “JED”, 59, of Douglasville, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 1, 2025.
Born on February 25, 1966, in Norristown, he was the son of the late John and Barbara (Crawley) DiNolfi Sr. James was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. He worked as a Mechanic Supervisor at Norristown State Hospital, where he was respected for his skill, dedication, and strong work ethic.
James had a passion for life and enjoyed coaching softball, fishing, hunting, and playing darts—where he proudly held a club high score of 160. A true handyman, he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Veronica (Babylon) DiNolfi; his cherished daughter, Kristen DiNolfi; three brothers, Charles DiNolfi, Alex DiNolfi Sr., and Gerald DiNolfi and his wife Natalie; his sister, Helene Sepulveda, and her husband Mike; as well as many loving nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his faithful dog, Tucker.
James was preceded in death by his brother, John “JD” DiNolfi Jr., who passed away on April 26, 2025.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, June 5, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, followed by a prayer service at the Volpe Funeral Home, 707 W. Germantown Pike (at Whitehall Road), East Norriton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Berks ARL Animal Rescue, 59 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
