James R. Moyer

James R. Moyer, 82, formerly of Reading, PA, passed away peacefully at home in West Norriton on Friday, June 23, 2023. He was a retired tow motor operator for Bachman Foods, where he was employed for 43 years.

James enjoyed sports and going to casinos. He loved bowling and achieved both a 299 and a 300 game. He was an avid fan of the Eagles, Sixers, and Phillies and never missed a game.

James loved the Lord and his family very much. He enjoyed listening to sermons and hymns, which gave him great comfort.

James was predeceased by a son, Michael J. Moyer. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Carmella (Lionti) Moyer, granddaughter Kayla (Moyer) Mullen and husband Jordan, greatgrandchildren Michael and Jazlynn Mullen, stepdaughter Dawn Gruen and husband Stephen, stepson James March and wife Julia, and stepgrandchildren Elijah, William, and Wesley March.

A memorial service will be held at Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church, 1921 West Main Street, Norristown, PA 19403 on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
