James S. Tarmin, 53, of Lower Merion Twp. Penn Valley passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
James was born in Bridgeport, PA to James Tarmin and Maryanne (Lukas) Tarmin. He shared the last 13 years of his life with his partner, Li Gao and cherished children, Aspen and Benji.
James was the Director of Project Management at Vitara Biomedical. Prior to that he worked as a project manager for Rex Medical and as an engineer for Kensey Nash. He was a graduate of Augusta State University and achieved a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He was accomplished in his field and was certified in project management and involved in many advances in healthcare. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and dog. He also enjoyed property renovation and management. He was Roman Catholic.
James is survived by his parents, James and Maryanne Tarmin, sister Kimberly (Tarmin) Peltier and husband Stephen Peltier,brother Augie Tarmin and wife Valerie (Walla). As well as his niece Emily Peltier, nephew, Ethan Peltier and niece Madison (Kain). We will remember his gentle soul, words of wisdom and calming nature as our family mourns the loss of this loving man. He will forever be in our hearts.
Memorial services will be held 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, February 27th, at Volpe Funeral home, 707 West Germantown Pike, Norristown, Pennsylvania.
Burial of Ashes will be in the Valley Forge Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Valley Forge, PA, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are respectfully requested to Autism Speaks https://www.autismspeaks.org/?form=donate , and National Alliance on Mental Illness https://www.nami.org/ , and will be accepted by the Volpe Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
