James C Tees

James C. Tees, affectionately known as “LT,” passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. He was 66 years old.

A resident of Schwenksville, James dedicated his career to law enforcement and retired as a Police Lieutenant with the Upper Merion Township Police Department. He was a proud member of FOP Lodge #14 and the Harley Owners Group.

James had a passion for life and adventure. He enjoyed cruising across the country on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, spending time on the golf course, and listening to music. His greatest joy, however, came from the time he shared with family and friends.

Born in Philadelphia on May 13, 1960, James was the beloved husband of Sheila (Donnelly)

Tees. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Kane Tees; his stepsons, Ian and Sean; his brothers, Ray and Craig Tees; and his sisters, Karen, Helen, Nancy, Margaret, and Patricia. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

James was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra.

Relatives and friends are invited to offer condolences to the family on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Volpe Funeral Home, 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Road, East Norriton.
