James C. Washington, 81 departed this life on Saturday June 8, 2024. Mr. Washington was born to the late Novada(Brown) and George Washington Sr. on July 15, 1942.
James was employed at Facenda Whitaker Lane Bowling Alley East Norriton Pa., His earlier days he worked for various companies such as Valley Maid Potato Chip, Allan Wood Steel Co. in Conshohocken, Ryder Trucking Co, Mascaro Trash Co, and Septa Transportation Authority.
James received his license from the MTA School for truck driving and his carpentry license from OIC. He was very good with his hands he could remodel a home in a few days.
James was a veteran in the United States Reserve.
He is survived by his first wife, Mary Hinton, and to this union was born two children, Barbara Washington of King of Prussia, Pa and Leon C Washington of Buffalo, New York.
Later years James married his loving devoted wife Suzan Washington and to this union a daughter, Kanisha Washington, Thurman Perkins IV, Leali Perkins, and Chanel Perkins, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grand, host of neices and nephews.
He leaves to mourn his brothers, George Jr, Charles, Donald, and Phillip, sisters, Anna Wilkerson and Linda Washington, also his Aunt Rebecca Brown.
James was predeceased in death by his brothers Richard, William and Thomas Washington and sister Florence Murray.
Interment will be held on Monday, June 24 at 12 noon. at George Washington Memorial Park,
