Jean Marie Arbott

Jean Marie Arbott, 70,  passed away peacefully at Einstein Montgomery Hospital on March 1, 2023. She was born on October 31, 1952 in York Pennsylvania to the late Eugene Klinefelter and Doris Hannigan.

Jean was a former chef and restaurant owner, as well as a proud mother and homemaker. She was a devoted catholic and parishioner at St. Patrick’s church in Carlisle and enjoyed many hobbies including reading, crossword puzzles, shopping, cooking, sharing stories from her life, and keeping up with local news.  

Jean is survived by her daughter and son-in-law ,Robbie Jean and Christopher Newhard, her brother Jesse Strickler and his family of York, PA, and her son Richard Phillips and his family of York, Pa.  

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday March 6, 2023 at the Volpe Funeral Home from 9 AM - 10:15 AM, followed by her funeral mass at Visitation BVM at 11 AM. Burial will take place on Tuesday at St. Patrick’s New Cemetery, North Middleton Township at 11:30 AM.
