Joanne Maria DiMarzio
passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the age of 69, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Joanne was a retired surgery coordinator who dedicated many years to caring for others through her work in healthcare. Outside of her career, she embraced life fully and found her greatest happiness in traveling, being on the water, soaking up the sun, cooking, and, most importantly, spending time with her family and friends.
Born in Philadelphia on April 19, 1956, she was the daughter of Dominick Giuffrida Sr. and the late Lilly (Patelmo) Giuffrida.
Joanne is survived by her beloved husband, Anthony “Mike” DiMarzio Sr.; her loving sons, Anthony “Tony” DiMarzio Jr., his wife Maranda, and their children, Jason, Natalie, Andrew, and Melina; and Dominick DiMarzio, his wife Jennifer, and their children, Jaden and Moira.
She is also survived by her brother, Dr. Dominick Giuffrida Jr. and his wife, Lisa; and her sisters, Angela Kenny and her husband, Kevin, Roseanne Hartley and her husband, Michael, Suzanne Popowicz and her husband, Robert, Lilly Todd and her husband, Alan, and Anne Marie Elduff and her husband, John.
Joanne was predeceased by her son, Jason, and her daughter, Natalie.
Joanne will be remembered for her warmth, her love of life, and her unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Her courageand kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Funeral services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
