Joanne M. Smith

Joanne M. Smith passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024. She was 62. Mrs. Smith of Plymouth Meeting was a member of Holy Saviour Church, Norristown. Joanne enjoyed walking her dog Toby, going to the shore, photography, painting, traveling, and celebrating special times with family and friends.
 

Joanne was born in Norristown on April 15, 1962, and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Concetta (Gallo) Granese. Joanne is survived by her husband Thomas V. Smith Jr., two daughters Briana Granese (Jimmy) and Sarina Smith, her grandson Daniel Granese, and her brother Anthony Granese (Christine). Joanne was predeceased by her sisters Amelia and Diana Granese.
 

Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, October 25, from 9 to 10 AM followed by a mass of Christian burial in Holy Saviour Church at 407 E. Main St., Norristown. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Huntington's Disease Youth Organization (HDYO) or the Huntington's Disease Society of America National Youth Alliance (HDSA NYA) to support youth impacted by Huntington’s disease.
