John Cardelli Jr

John M Cardelli Jr., age 63 of Upper Darby, passed away on February 26, 2022 at Bryn Mawr Hospital. He was born on December 10, 1958 in Philadelphia, the son of Anna Marie Ettorre and John M. Cardelli Sr. 
John (or Johnny as his family called him) was a free spirited social butterfly, he always enjoyed making people smile, and he loved to be around people. Wherever John went, he always knew someone. Anyone you ask would tell you he was the nicest person they knew, he didn't have a mean bone in his body.
He could sit for hours just talking to his buddies over coffee at Dunkin' Donuts, or you could find him at Spruce Street Harbor Park in Philadelphia relaxing in a hammock with a Wawa coffee and listening to The Beatles on his headphones. He loved his music and coffee together, especially The Beatles, and he never missed a Sunday listening to Breakfast with The Beatles on 102.9 WMGK. 
If you asked John what his biggest accomplishment was in life, he would say being a father. He loved his little girl, she brought so much joy to his life. 
John is survived by seven siblings. He was formally married to Joanne Cardelli, the mother of his daughter Christine Whited, son in law Scott Whited, and his first granddaughter Emilia Whited. 
A Celebration of Life will be held for him on Saturday, March 19th, visiting at 10am, and service at 11am at the church he attended - Life Christian Fellowship Church - 607 West Springfield Road, Springfield PA 19064.
