John F. Driver

Beloved to all who knew him, we said goodbye to John F. Driver on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. He was 65.  Mr. Driver, of King of Prussia, was born in Philadelphia on August 7, 1957.

When he wasn't enjoying his family, John could be found reading James Patterson or John Grisham. He would alternately cheer or snore his way through every Philadelphia sporting event.

His love of St. John could be seen in his backyard, which he and his wife, Carol, turned into their own personal paradise.  His most precious time was spent with his grandchildren and family. John was a kind and loving soul, fiercely proud of his family, and made sure all who knew him felt it.  The son of Roland and Ann (Jasper) Driver, John is survived by his beloved wife, Carol (Glaum) Driver; three sons: Christopher (Carolina), Andrew (Kristen), and Dylan; two daughters: Emily (Zachary) Phipps, and Allison (Ryan) Desmond; and grandchildren: Vanessa, Cesar, Ari, Dylan, Liam, Elizabeth, Sebastian, Graham, Natalia, Blaire, and Hollis. Additionally, John is survived by his siblings: Thomas, Michael, Ann, Eileen, Kathleen, Grace, and Lisa; and mother, Ann. In his passing, John joined his brother, William, and father, Roland.  He will be deeply missed by all who felt his love and forehead kisses. Relatives and friends are invited to John’s memorial service on Monday April 24 at the Volpe Funeral home from 12 PM to 1:15 PM, service to follow.  Memorial contributions can be made in John’s name to the PA Vent camp.
