5 grandchildren Jason, Erin, Jill, Shannon, Jake
And great grandchild Foxx and one on the way…
Known as Johnny Pops, POPS, Pop-pop and DAD
He was the hardest working, Workaholic in the world, hard driven, provider, strong, a bit crazy in his own way and could be down- right mean at times. He took no shit from anyone (No Shit Ski) He was a Resilient proud man, business owner, Tree surgeon, tree trimmer, brush dragger, truck driven, chamowearing, suspender user, snow plower, metal scrapper, lawn mower repairmen, dumpster diving, tobacco chewer+spitter, hard of hearing, funny, good whistler, smart, generous, and cheap as hell Too!! He loved a nice clean truck and a good cup of coffee, he was an outdoorsman, most of the time you would find him in a tree, (working that is….) In his spare time, he loved hunting and fishing, nature animals and in his elder years enjoyed trips to Florida, South Carolina and many trips to the mountains
He Loved everyone of his children in his own way even though he did not always show it or say it, in ways we would have wanted or expected, but we all know he DID… and as we all aged together the LOVE shown itself little by little.
In Hindsight we learned a whole lot from POPS and will carry that with us for eternity
In Honor of JOHNNY POPS
Please plant a tree cause lord knows he took down a great deal of them over the years
RIP POPS
