Jose Fernandez

Jose Fernandez, 86, of Blue Bell, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 15, 2025. Born in Cuba on September 16, 1938, he was the beloved son of the late Benito and Maria (Difur) Fernandez.

Jose earned his bachelor’s degree and dedicated his professional life to the pharmaceutical industry, where he worked as a chemist. Known for his sharp mind and kind heart, Jose was a devoted family man who cherished time spent with loved ones. He especially enjoyed traveling with his late wife, Cecilia, creating memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew them.

He is survived by his daughter Sandra and his son Edward. In addition to his wife, Cecilia, he was predeceased by his brother Ronald and sister Zaida.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Volpe Funeral Home, 707 W. Germantown Pike. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM, followed by a service at 12 Noon.
