Joseph A. Fazio Sr.

Joseph A. Fazio Sr., of Worcester, Pa., peacefully passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at the age of 90.
Born in Norristown, Pa., on March 20, 1932, he was the son of the late Samuel and Angeline (Piccone) Fazio.

Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years Virginia Jean (Petriello) Fazio, his children Joseph (Patricia) Fazio, Robert (Rosemary deceased) Fazio, Lisa (Stephen) Fazio and Carol (Chris) Fazio, hisgrandchildren Joseph III, Anita, Robert Jr. (Keiona), Renee(Tristan), Eric and step-granddaughter Kristie (Gary) Sussman and family and great grandson Michael.
Joseph was predeceased in death by his grandson Marc Fazio.

Joseph was retired from the former Alan Wood Steel and Lukens Steel Companies. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served during the Korean War.
Joseph enjoyed bowling at Facenda Whitaker Bowling Alley, golfing, gardening, traveling with his wife and spending time with his family, which he dearly loved. He was a member of the Visitation BVM Church, Trooper.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass on Friday, October 28 at 10 AM at Visitation BVM Church Trooper.

Family will receive relatives and friends prior to mass from 9 to 10 AM at the church. Burial will be private at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St. Jude's Hospital for Children or Shriners Hospital for Children in Joseph’s memory.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Volpe Funeral Home.
