Joey was one of eight children, he told me that he was born on Mother’s Day. He is survived by a beautiful daughter Amanda, not only a daughter but a granddaughter Addie. And then there is me, his loving wife. He worked as a communication technician even though his degree was in finance. He loved his job and he loved to work. He was a great man and a very kind gentleman, he loved to talk and tell stories. We had so much fun together in fact we met on the computer.
Anyone that knew Joey knows he wanted to live life on his own terms. No one can tell Joey what he should or shouldn’t do not even me! He thought he would be alright by not taking his medication eating sweets, low body weight, and smoking. Even though for all these reasons he never thought he would die from it.
However, he was a wonderful husband. He would make sure I had everything I needed and was kind and generous. One thing he always said to me was that I always had his back and that I was the only girlfriend that truly cares that’s why he married me. He would say did I tell you that I love you today, I’d answer yes or no. He would say, well i do, I would always say back, I love you too babe. He said that every day
Joey was the love of my life, my true soulmate he made me feel extremely loved I will never forget him, my very best friend!
