Joseph Rowland

Joseph "JR" Rowland 62 a resident of Plymouth Meeting, passed away on Saturday April 12, 2025 following a courageous battle with a long illness.

Joe went peacefully with the Lord surrounded by his family. Joseph was born April 18, 1962 in Roxborough to the late James and Dolores (McManus) Rowland.
Joe was a plumber before his illness. 
He was a passionate man when it came to the love of all Philadelphia sport teams.
He was a huge fan of the Notre Dame football and NASCAR. Joe was a team dad for his daughter's cheerleading team and also with coaching his son in baseball and ice hockey.Joe was extremely proud of his family. 

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Morrione) Rowland. 
His daughter Shannon (Josh) Schlachterman, and  son Joseph Rowland. 
Two grandchildren Savannah and Ella. 
Two brother, James (Lisa) Rowland, and Daniel Rowland. 
He will also be loved and remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
 

The Rowland family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, April 22 from 10 to 11 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Norristown. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. 

The Family request in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the lower Perk Longhorns.
