Josephine (Bondi) Falcone, age 93, of Norristown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 7, 2020 with family by her side. Born in 1927 to the late Lou and Jean Bondi, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carmen Falcone. 

Josephine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and was referred to as “Jo” or “Honey” to those who knew her best. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, reading, and cheering on her grandchildren at school, music, and sporting events.  She especially loved playing bingo and socializing with her close and dear friends and staff at Regina Nursing Center.  With a special talent for making everyone laugh, Josephine had anyone she encountered feeling uplifted and most welcome in her company.  Most of all, she lived for hosting family gatherings, never refusing an offer to dance!  

Josephine spent most of her life a full-time housewife and mother. She was a member of Holy Saviour Church. For a time, she was co-owner of the family business, Lou’s Sandwich Shop with her late sisters, Marge Alba and Jean Bruno. She is survived by her five loving children Joanne (Amelang), Marlene (Fratoni), Anthony, Gina, and Maria (Byrnes); 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Josephine will be laid to rest with her husband of 39 years, Carmen, at a private family interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials in Josephine’s name to Regina Nursing Center, 550 E. Fornance St., Norristown or to   Holy Saviour Parish, 407 E. Main St., Norristown.
