Kathleen Webster Romano (74), a long time resident of Norristown PA, passed away on Thursday morning, February 27, 2025.
Kathy was born in Bryn Mawr Hospital on May 29,1950 and was the daughter of the late, William and Elizabeth (Davies) Webster. Kathy graduated from Upper Dublin High School in 1968. She started her college career at East Stroudsburg, but quickly ended that to marry Richard R. Romano on March 22, 1969 and start her family in Conshohocken, PA.
She is survived by her former husband Richard Romano, four sons Richard (Jennifer) Romano, Shawn (Anne Marie) Romano, Robert (Wendy) Romano, and David Romano. She also left behind two daughters Lisa (Brandon) deCordre and Kathleen Romano (Christgen Davis). Her beloved grandchildren consist of Mariah, Anthony, Brent, Blake, Nicholas, Isabella, William, Haley, Kristina and Miranda. Kathy was so excited to discover she would become a great grandmother in August of 2025. She is also survived by her special friend Keith Passione and two brothers, W. Richard (Janet) and David (Debbie) Webster.
Kathy’s pride and joy was her family. She gave her life to her children and loved nothing more than raising them. Kathy loved kids (especially babies) and animals (especially birds, horses and her cats). She found joy in all things related to nature. Kathy took great pride in her Quaker roots. Later in life, she rejoiced in Fairview Village Bible studies and the connections she made there.
She was predeceased by her sweet sister Beth Webster, her beloved and admirable grandmother Grace Webster and her favorite Uncle Harry.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial service on Friday May 2, 2025 at the Fairview Village Church from 3 - 4 PM followed by a service at 4 PM. Dinner will follow the service in the cafe of the church.
