Louretta Eileen (Hoffecker) Daywalt

Louretta Eileen (Hoffecker) Daywalt, 82 years of age, passed on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at King of Prussia Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Eileen was born on December 7th, 1940, in West Chester, Pa. to the late Paul Goerge Hoffecker, Sr. and Louretta Marion (Gill) Hoffecker. She is the second oldest of five children, two preceded her in death Paul, Jr., and Nancy Detwiler. Eileen wasgiven her nickname “Pud” from her father as a child. Eileen was educated in the O&J Roberts School District where she graduated. After graduating Eileen worked as a secretary where she met the late Gerald Thomas Daywalt and married him on May 6, 1961, in Winchester, Virginia. She worked at Synthane-Taylor in Oaks, Pa. Eileen had two children who were born from this union.
Eileen loved to read her bible until she lost her eye sight and then listening to her bible scriptures, praying for and with others, listening to her music, knitting, spending time with family and friends, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face.
Eileen leaves to cherish her loving memory her siblings, Sally (John), of West Chester, Pa., and George (Donna) Meadow Vista, Ca.; children, James T. (Tara), of Lansdale, Pa., and Jon “Wes” (Tracy), of Pottstown, Pa.; 4 grandchildren, AnnMargaret, Cheyenne, Kurtis, and Alexander; 1 Great-Grandchild, Andrew G. B. Baird; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on October 6th, 2023, at 2 pm at St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, 2440 Conestoga Road, Chester Springs, Pa. 19425with Pastors - Dr. Samuel Cancel, Jr. and LCD. Jessica Cancel for Iglesia El Shaddai, 381 Beech Street, Pottstown, Pa. and funeral arrangements are in the care of the Volpe Funeral Home,707 W. Germantown Pike, Norristown, Pa.
