Margaret Zimmer

Margaret J. Zimmer passed away peacefully on June 15, 2022. Marge was born in Syracuse , NY to the late Angelo and Anna Stoyan. Growing up, she enjoyed living near Syracuse University where she met and married the late H. James Zimmer. 
Marge moved to Plymouth Meeting where she loved attending her son’s  little league games, playing bridge weekly with friends, taking bus trips to New Jersey Casinos, and taking grandchildren on many adventures. Marge was very active in her church community and spoke often on how grateful she was to be part of the committee which helped to build Epiphany Church.
She was preceded in death by: a brother Bill; three sisters Mary Culkin, Dorothy Peta, and Hannah Winthrow; and long-time boyfriend Edward .J. (Pete) Petro.  Marge is survived by: two sons - James and John (Ann); two grandchildren - Derrick and Desiree; and many nieces and nephews.
Marge’s viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 9:30 to 10:15 AM at the Epiphany of Our Lord Church, Plymouth Meeting, PA. A funeral mass will follow the viewing and take place from 10:30 to 11:30 AM.
Family request in Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Dementia Society of America.
