Mary Ann Durante

Mary Ann (Del Vecchio) Durante, of Plymouth Meeting, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the age of 88.

Born in Norristown on June 20, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Achilles and Anna (Pizza) Del Vecchio. She was the devoted wife of the late Richard A. Durante, with whom she shared a loving marriage.

Mary Ann is survived by her brother, Jack (Janice) Del Vecchio, three daughters, Diane (Jody) Caperila,
Patricia (James) Gilligan, and Susan (Howard) Laskey.
And four grandchildren, James, Madeline, Nicholas, and Angelina.

A longtime member of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church and the Holy Saviour Senior Citizens Group, Mary Ann lived a life centered around faith, family, and community. She found joy in traveling, cooking, and spending treasured time with her loved ones, especially at her second home on Long Beach Island, NJ.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, December 9, from 9:30 to 10:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Norristown. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Volpe Funeral Home.
