Mary Molinaro (DiBattista)
Age 89, of Trooper, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020. Preceded in death by husband, Anthony (2010).
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, referred to as 'Dolly' by those who knew her best. She enjoyed family gatherings, designing floral arrangements, spending time at the beach, music, and gardening. She was an active member of Visitation B.V.M. Catholic Church in Trooper.
Mary was a full-time working mother at a time when it was uncommon and was a true example of perseverance and determination in caring for her family. She retired with over 20 years at General Electric.
She had a quiet strength, an enviable patience, and a giving spirit. No matter who stopped by for a visit, at any time of day, she always had a meal ready to share. She had a gentle nature and always put others first. We'll miss her Italian cooking, warm smile, and ability to add color to everything she touched. She lived a full life and was fully loved.
Survived by her five children, Jack Molinaro, Sharon (John) Bays, Deborah Molinaro, Joyce Molinaro and Lisa (Greg Nelson) Molinaro; grandchildren, Lauren (Shane) Larson, Jonathan (Jessica) Molinaro, Morgan (Steve) Kapp, Alex Bays, Rachel Bays, Sydney Nelson, Sophia Nelson and Zachary Nelson; three great-grandchildren and brothers Carmen (Kathryn) and Ralph.
Mary will be laid to rest with her husband of 54 years, Anthony, at a private family interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery. Due to public health concerns, a Celebration of Life will be held when conditions permit.
