Matthew Lagowski

Matthew A. Lagowski passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. He was 90. Mr. Lagowski of Bridgeport was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, Bridgeport. Matthew was retired as a Material Controller for Smith- Kline. Matthew enjoyed gardening, handyman chores and was an avid Eagles and sports fan. He was born in Manayunk, Pa. on July 10, 1929 and was the son of the late Felix and Catherine (Zawislak) Lagowski. He was the husband of the late Mary (Romanelli) Lagowski. He is survived by his son Matthew (Susan) Lagowski.
Two daughters Katherine Falcone and Karen (Wayne) Mazzie, nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Matthew was predeceased by Nine sisters and One brother. Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Friday, June 19 at 12 noon in Limerick Garden of Memories. Limerick Pa. Family request in Lieu  of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warriors  Project to assist wounded Military Veterans.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Volpe funeral home.
