Nancy K Cirafisi

Nancy K. Cirafisi, 93, of Norristown passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Born in Roxborough on July 27, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Clara (Riebel) Monappella. Nancy was the beloved wife of the late Gerald A. Cirafisi with whom she shared 67 years of marriage. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who treasured every moment spent with family. Nancy was employed in food preparation at the former Genuardi's Family Markets, where she was known for her strong work ethic and friendly spirit. She was a proud member of the Red Hat Club and found great joy in bowling, and listening to the music of Elvis Presley, whose songs she truly loved. At family gatherings, everyone looked forward to Nancy's famous Washington Pie and her homemade Italian wedding soup. She was especially known for her cherished meatball recipe, and Sunday dinners at her house were a beloved tradition. Nancy also had a flair for fashion. She adored her hats, and rarely was seen without a different, often fancy, one perched proudly on her head.

She is survived by her three sons, Jerry (Dee), Charles (Therese), and Joseph (Melissa) Cirafisi, her two daughters, Nancy Landis (widow of Ken) and Lillian Cirafisi; and her sister, Claire O'Neill. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense pride and happiness. She is also survived by her daughter-in- law Deneen, wife of her late son, Thomas. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sons Thomas and Nicholas Cirafisi; her two grandchildren Jason and Sabrina Cirafisi, her sister, Peggy Donovan; and her brother, Richard Monappella.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday, March 5, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a prayer service at Volpe Funeral Home, 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Road, East Norriton. Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
