Nelson “Lee” Miller

Nelson “Lee" Miller passed away suddenly on December 5, 2022, he was 60 years old. Lee was born in Plymouth Township on August 5, 1962 to the late Nelson and Dorothy (Keck) Miller. 

Lee enjoyed many things, but some of his favorites included hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his grandson Bodhi. Lee started at an early age in the fire service joining Harmonville Fire Company where he spent many years. He then joined Centre Square Fire Company where he spent 27 years of his life serving the residents of Whitpain Township. Lee served in all officer positions in the company eventually reaching Chief, where he spent 16 active years. Lee’s dedication to Whitpain Township did not stop there as he worked in the Public Works Department for 40 years, most recently as the Assistant Director. 

Lee is survived by his wife Sue, daughter Courtney (Sam), son Jesse, sister Linda, and his grandson Bodhi.

Relatives and friends are invited to his life celebration on Wednesday, December 14 from 4:30 to 7:30 at the Centre Square Firehouse 1298 Skippack Pike, Blue Bell. A service for Lee will follow.
