Nelya E. Guerrero

Nelya E. Guerrero, of Penn Valley, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2023, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
 
Nelya was born on December 29, 1961, in Nicaragua, daughter of Julio Guerrero and Victoria Reyes. Nelya lived in Costa Rica during her early life, immigrated to the United States in 1990 and settled in the Philadelphia suburbs with the Kolansky family in 1994.
 
Nelya was a loving daughter, caring sister and aunt, dedicated nanny, loyal friend, and committed congregant. She is survived by her father, Julio Guerrero, brother Norwin, sister Xochilt (Marvin), nephews André, David, and niece Jesicca . She will be deeply missed by her family and the family she called her own: Ana and Daniel Kolansky, and their children to whom she was dedicated: David, Jonathan, and Matthew. She left an indelible mark in the personal lives and the communities that she touched both here and abroad.
 
Funeral services will be held on Monday evening at 7 pm (family and friends may arrive after 6:15pm), at 707 W Germantown Pike, East Norriton, Pennsylvania.
