Niazi Monzer Arslan

Niazi Monzer Arslan, born October 20,1986; he left us too soon on October 15, 2019. He left behind his precious Gianna Lynn, Monzer, his father, and Debbie who had been his mother since September 9, 1996, and his “grandma,” Doris Palumbo.

Born in Tripoli, Lebanon, Niazi braved thousands of miles alone to come to America when he was only 10 years old. He carried this courage with him all his young life, exuberant to try new things, new foods and adventures.

He was still searching for his happiness and true love; a search that never came to fruition because it was his time to be in peace with God. His road was not pathed in perfect harmony, nor was it always straight, but it was his journey, and we are blessed to have been on it with him. A hard traveled road is never easy, but when the Lord goes before us and makes our crooked places straight, we bond together and move as one.

Niazi was an avid cook, enjoying the family restaurant business. He was a history buff contemplating a career as a history teacher; he loved fishing, especially with his dad, and the ocean. He was quiet and deep, a gentle soul, and we will never, ever forget him, wishing for more time together.

Niazi, you did not grow under my heart, but within it. You will always be my son, forever.
