Pamela Bryant, Age 80, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on October 6th at Brookside Nursing Home.
She was born on December 13 1943 to Clarence and Vivienne Harris in Philadelphia and lived a life full of love, strength, and wisdom.
Pam was known for her artistic self expression, kindness, and her dedication to the children in her family. In 1966 she graduated from the Philadelphia College of Art with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Art Education. Her desire was to teach others how to freely express themselves through art.
Pam was well known as a baker and foodie in her earlier years. She was a part of a well known organization called OA where people would share thier successes and struggles with food addiction. Pam was a regular attendee in these meetings and became an advocate for healthy eating and instilled those traits into her grandchildren and friends.
She was a huge music and sports, fan and many of her tastes rubbed off on the younger generations closest with her. Blues, oldies, doowop, and a healthy love of the Philadelphia Eagles and 76ers brought joy and energy to her household.
She will be remembered for her passion for arts and love of music. Her most fond hobbies were drawing poetry, and teaching.
She is survived by her son, Gregory Adam Bryant, Grandson, Frank Robinson, Granddaughter, Briana Carney, and Grandson Xavier Bryant.
Pam will be deeply missed by all who know her. Her life lessons, firm will, and kind spirit will undoubtedly live on through her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service Saturday October 12, from 11-12 pm at the Volpe Funeral Home.
