Patricia Wolfgang

PATRICIA MEHLBAUM YEAGER WOLFGANG

Died January 25, 2023 in Collegeville, PA.  She was born June 21, 1937, the daughter of Bernard Mehlbaum and Alma Yeager, of Washington, DC. Patricia was delivered at Ashland State Hospital, PA, the hospital which her mother received Nurses training.

While visiting with maternal grandparents, John and Catherine Yeager of Gordon, PA, her mother died when she was 2 weeks old.  Patricia was adopted by her maternal grandparents and attended Gordon Public School.  In 1949, her grandmother passed away.  She then lived with guardians, William and Helen King, of Penns Grove, NJ.    She attended Broad St. School and graduated from Penns Grove Regional High School, class of 1955.  While in High School, she became a member of USO and visited New Castle and Dover Air Bases often.

Previous to her marriage, she had worked for The Pennsylvania National Guard, at Indiantown Gap, PA.

She married Jere Wolfgang of Ashland, PA on May 5, 1956.  Jere died June 11, 1993.

Patricia was employed by Burroughs and General Electric companies.  Her husband was self-employed.  They owned and operated Conshohocken Auto Glass and Radiator Inc. for many years.

Patricia moved to Harrington, DE in 2005.  She attended Reformation Lutheran Church in Milford, DE.  She was a member of Harrington and Milford Senior Centers, as well as The Moose Lodge #534, Chapter 1229, Harrington, DE.

Patricia enjoyed decorating her house for all the holidays.  Her love of cooking made her a collector of many cookbooks and recipes.

She is survived by her son, Eric Wolfgang, of Collegeville, PA, daughter, Karen Yuan, of Collegeville, grandson, Matthew Cianciulli, Collegeville, and granddaughter, Alyssa Yuan, Collegeville.  Five half-brothers, Bernard Mehlbaum, FL, Paul Miller, CO, Albert Mehlbaum, MD, Mark Mehlbaum, WV, Philip Mehlbaum, AK, and one half-sister, Ann Robinson, MD.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 12:00PM at Reformation Lutheran Church, 613 Lakeview Ave., Milford, DE  19963, with Pastor Eric Evers presiding,
