Philip A. Hicks

Philip Arthur Hicks (age 66) born June 3, 1954, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones during the early evening hours on May 28, 2021. 

Philip was originally from West Virginia, but currently resided in Eagleville. Philip was a hardworking man who spent his years as a steel worker for Handy and Harmon and Superior/AMETEK, and a driver for Veltri Incorporated. Philip loved summer vacations in Wildwood with his family, classic cars, animals especially dogs, and music. Most of all, Philip loved his family and being a father. 

Philip is survived by his wife Donna (Clarke) Hicks, three children Stephanie (Matthew), Philip (Denise) and Robert (Melanie), and sister Diana (Randy). 

Philip was preceded in death by his father Samuel, mother Pearl (Bell), brother James, and sister Mary Ellen. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, June 2, from 4:00 to 5:30 PM at the Volpe Funeral Home 707 W. Germantown Pike at  Whitehall Rd., East Norriton. A memorial service will follow.
Burial will be private.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Philip’s memory to your local SPCA or American Cancer Society.
