Raymond “Ray” R. Quintrell Jr.

Raymond “Ray” R. Quintrell Jr. passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at the age of 62.   He was born in Norristown, PA on July 2, 1960, and was the son of the late Raymond and Patricia (Douglass) Quintrell.

Mr. Quintrell graduated from Bishop Kenrick High School. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.  He loved the outdoors and took pride in his yardwork.  He was always willing to help others and lend a hand.  Ray was employed as a warehouse lead associate for Safelite Auto Glass in East Norriton.  

He is survived by his loving companion of 27 years, Lynn Desimone.  Daughters, Lora Quintrell (Vinnie Esposito) and Kara Foraker, and stepdaughter Danielle Desimone Volpe (Vinny).

Brothers, David Quintrell (Patti) and Jeff Quintrell (AmberPizza).  Sisters, Carol Scanlon (Shawn), Debbie Hertzog(Wayne), and Joanne Pfanders (Ron Keyser).

Grandchildren, Dominic, Ava and Sophia; and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Saint Patrick’s Mausoleum chapel located at 2400 DeKalb Pike, East Norriton, PA.

Memorial service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Volpe funeral home.
