Rene Carmona

René Carmona passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. He was 71.

Mr. Carmona Of Norristown was a truck driver for Mascaro Hauling. René enjoyed fishing, crabbing, playing dominoes and pinochle. René was a proud member of Narcotics Anonymous,  and enjoyed spending time with his home group Juntos Podemos. He celebrated nearly 32 years of sobriety and shared his story as he helped so many during his journey. 

René was born in Cataño, Puerto Rico on September 7, 1950 and was the son of the late Fabian and Segunda Claudio Carmona. He is survived by his son Anthony (Kristen) Carmona, three daughters Ana Carmona, Christina (Dasia) Wright, and Destiney Robles. One brother Angel Menendez, 10 grandchildren Mardaije, Marvin, Mariana, Seth, David, Julia, Maeve, Alliyah, Arionna and Rene Jr, and three great grandchildren. 

Pre-deceased by two sons René David and René Fabian Carmona.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at Volpe Funeral Home on Saturday, April 23 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by services. 

Burial will be private. 

Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Volpe funeral home.
