Richard A. Pomponi passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022. He was 83. Rich was born in Norristown on October 21, 1938. He was the son of the late Rudolph and Katherine Sangiacomo Pomponi.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta (Basile) Pomponi, a brother, Robert Pomponi and his wife Diane of Audobon, Daughters Deborah Strizziere and husband Felix of Collegeville and Dena Yurick of Plymouth Meeting. Grandchildren Joseph Strizziere, Michael Strizziere, Olivia Yurick and Jon Yurick.
Rich was a loving husband to his wife Loretta. They were married for 60 beautiful years. He adored her and they were inseperable. He was truly a family man, his daughters and grandchildren meant everything to him.
Rich worked as a supervisor for Lockheed Martin for many years. He loved sports and played volleyball, racketball, baseball and basketball. His many hobbies include fishing, kayaking and motorcycle riding. He was also an avid reader of books. He had a gusto for life and lived it to the fullest.
He will be truly missed by everyone.
Relatives and friends are invited to Holy Saviour church on Monday February 7 from 9 AM to 10 AM, followed by Richard’s funeral mass at 10 AM.
