Robert C Carr Sr.

Robert (Bob) C. Carr, Sr. passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 16, 2025. He was 84.  

Bob was retired from SPS Technologies, where he was a Machinist. He graduated from North Catholic High School. Bob was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting and golfing. He loved spending his earlier years with family in Cape May, NJ at his mother's home on the Cape May canal. 

Born in Philadelphia on August 24, 1940, Bob was the son of the late William and Marie (Blessing) Carr. He is surrvived by his wife of 56 years Lorraine (McGuire) Carr and his sons Robert C. Carr, Jr. (Carol) and Steven Carr. Brother Thomas Carr (Betty); his sister-in-law, Joanne Carr, wife of his late brother William Carr. “Bob was lovingly know as Pop Bob” to his grandsons Joseph and Padraic. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Volpe Funeral Home, 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Road, East Norriton, followed by prayer services. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
