Salvatore A. Termine passed away on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021. He was 95. Sal was born in Norristown on March 2, 1926. He was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Modica) Termine. He was the husband of the late Ann (McCormack) Termine.
Sal was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy on the USS Charles S. Sperry DD 697 from May 1944 to May 1946.
Sal owned and operated numerous gas stations in the Norristown area. Following that, he worked as a mechanic for Septa retiring in 1989.
Sal is survived by his two daughters Sally (Dennis) Byrnes and Kathleen (Jim) Koch as well as two grandchildren James (Micheale) and Caroline. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Sal was predeceased in death by his four brothers Charles, Gus, Joseph and Russell as well as two sisters Mary Hertzog and Frances Termine.
Viewing and family condolences will be held on Thursday, April 8, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at Volpe Funeral Home, 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Road in East Norriton. Prayers at the funeral home will begin at 10:30. Burial will be held at St. Patrick cemetery.
