Samuel J Smith

Samuel J. Smith passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025. He was 69.

Mr. Smith of Phoenixville worked at TJ Cope in Collegeville, PA for approximately 25 years. More recently, Sam was a driver for Car Vision in Trooper, PA. Samuel enjoyed fishing and camping, as well as socializing with his many friends and spending time with family.

He was born in Norristown on March 23, 1956 and was the son of the late Edward and Doris (Berry) Smith.

Samuel is survived by his wife, Joanne (Wilson) Smith. His daughters Racheal and Samantha Smith. Brother Edward Smith and sisters, Sandra Geist and Cheryl Tanyer.

Samuel was predeceased by his brothers Richard and William Smith. Sisters Patricia Smith, Doris Clayton, and Barbara Soos.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, November 24th from 11:30 to 12:30, followed by a prayer service at Volpe Funeral Home - 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Rd., East Norriton, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Montgomery County SPCA at 19 E Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
