Sharon L. Cullen passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the age of 59. A resident of Skippack Township, Sharon dedicated her professional life to public service in the District Attorney's Office, County Commissioners'' Office and finally as the Director of Parking Facilities and Fleet Management for Montgomery County. She will be remembered not only for her leadership and commitment to her work, but also for her compassionate heart and unwavering support of first responders.
Born in Philadelphia on October 3, 1965, Sharon was the daughter of the late Max and Florence (Specos) Stein. She was a proud graduate of North Penn High School, Class of 1983.
Sharon and Sean met through Montgomery County and they shared a uniquely bonded, strong, loving, happy marriage and were continuously surrounded by countless Friends and Family who they loved with all of their hearts.
Together with her devoted husband, Sean Cullen, Sharon co-founded the Montgomery County Hero Fund Charity which guarantees the acts of a Hero are never in vain and it is a lasting legacy that provides critical support to our Heroes and the Families of First Responders in times of tragedy. Her passion for helping others, especially those who serve our communities, was a defining part of her life.
Sharon is survived by her beloved husband, Sean E. Cullen, and her cherished nieces, Allyson Metzger and Rachel Metzger, her Brother and Sister-in-Law Jon and Joanne Metzger, he loving Mother-in-Law Mary Cullen who adored her, the Miraglia Family and her loved babies Sasha Bear, Mishka Bear and Justice. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives she touched and will touch in the future through her hard work.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, August 5 at 10:00 AM at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St., Norristown. A viewing will be held on Monday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, and again on Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at the church.
