Sonya M Thorne

Sonya Maria Thorne passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026. She was 58 years old.

Mrs. Thorne of Fairview Village worked as a Senior Buyer in the manufacturing industry. She was known for her warm personality, love of family, and enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures.

Sonya loved traveling, especially to Florida and Jamaica. She treasured time spent with family and friends, often gathering at the Trappe Tavern where many lasting memories were made. She also had a special love for her beloved dog, Maya, who brought her much companionship and joy.

Born in Norristown on June 10, 1967, Sonya was the daughter of the late Judith (Law) Smith.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Ralph D. Thorne Jr.; her two sons, Jason Thorne and Adam Thorne; and her daughter, Brandi (Hannah) Entenman. She is also survived by her uncles, David Law, Dennis Law, and Billy Law, as well as her cousins, Camille, Meredith, and Marcy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a prayer service at Volpe Funeral Home, 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Road, East Norriton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sonya’s memory to a local SPCA or to the American Cancer Society atwww.cancer.org.
