Stanley J. Pezely passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021, at the age of 92, after enjoying a Father’s Day cookout with family the day before.
Mr. Pezely of Jeffersonville was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served during the Korean War.
Stanley was an Electrical Engineer and worked at the former Burroughs Corp., Ensoniq and Dupont before retiring in 1993.
He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi church, where he was a Lector, served as President of the Holy Name Society and ran the CCD program for several years.
Stanley enjoyed woodworking, photography, collecting records and traveling. Employing his skills to help others by building cabinets and shelves, or by rewiring a light switch, or by documenting an event with his camera always brought him great pleasure and fulfillment.
He had enormous love and gratitude for his loving wife of 62 years.
He was born in Philadelphia on October 29, 1928 and was the son of the late Joseph and Dora (Karlovic) Pezely.
Stanley is survived by his wife Catherine (Shields) Pezely; sons Stanley Pezely Jr., Joseph (Patricia) Pezely, and Robert (Rebecca) Pezely; daughters Catherine (Scott) Merrill and Susan Pezely; brother Joseph Pezely; and grandchildren Jennifer, Daniel, Melinda and Christopher.
Stanley's viewing will be held on Thursday eveningJune 24 from 6 to 8 PM and Friday from 8:15 to 9:15 AMat the Volpe Funeral Home, 707 West Germantown Pike Whitehall Rd. East Norriton. Funeral mass will be held on Friday at 10 AM in St. Francis of Assisi church.
Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
